USEFUL CHANGES THROUGHOUT THE SYSTEM
We have separated account contact and LIA contact.
We have separated account contacts from LIA contacts to improve contacts management, as they serve different purposes. This restructuring will facilitate the generation of LIAs, as all LIA contacts are now consolidated in one location.
After separating the account contact and the LIA contact, we have also decided to change their names for better clarity
Account contact changed to contact
LIA contact changed to LIA generation
FEATURES
Contact and account owner.
We have added the option to specify the contact and LIA generation owner when creating them. This feature helps designate the individual responsible for managing the contact/LIA generation.
How it works
Step 1: Go to the 'Add' or 'Update' contacts/LIA generation.
Step 2: Go to the contacts owner field and choose the instructor to assign to the contacts/LIA generation contact.
N.B: You only select from the existing instructors.
When creating a contacts/LIA generation, we have added additional fields to gather more information about the contact. These fields are listed below.
N.B: We have added contact types as tags to facilitate easier filtering. Additionally, we have included an option to filter by contact type in the contact section.
We have removed the option to add tags to accounts. Accounts will now inherit all tags from the associated contact.
We have made several changes to the lead section and added new fields. These are listed below
We have made a small change to the task functionality: tasks can now be created without being associated with any account, as requested by the instructors.
We have made a crucial change requested by the instructor: the ability to save filters. As there are three phases, each with options to filter by class, department, invited students, or non-invited students, the applied filter will now be automatically saved and will remain active even when you move to the next phase
When adding an instructor, it is no longer required to select a class associated with them, as some instructors don't belong to any class. The class field is now optional. Additionally, if you want to change permissions for an existing instructor, we have added a new role called 'Admin' that can be assigned to instructors who don't belong to any class
How it works
Step1: Go to the instructor, click on the three dots button next to their name, and then select 'Change Permission
Step 2: Select the permission for the instructor and click the 'Save' button
We have added the option to bulk upload notes to the account
How it works
Step 1: Go the account and open it
Step 2: Click on 'Notes' to open the Notes page. Then, click on the three dots button in the corner and select 'Upload Notes
Step 3: Download the template and follow the next instructions
We have added a new section called 'Metrix’. Metrix provide an overall view of students and their skills. It graphically displays the number of students and the percentage who possess certain skills at the school, department, and class levels. The skills are categorized in terms of tools, domains, competencies, and roles. Metrix automatically aggregates all the skills that students have added to their profiles. For example, if three students have added Java to their skills, searching for Java will show that three students match with this skill, along with the corresponding percentage. Metrix will be useful in pitching
Metrix Useful Functionality
By default, when you open Metrics, it provides skills data for all students across all departments. However, you can filter the results based on school or class,
You also have the option to search for a specific skill by typing in the search menu
We have a 'View Matching Students' button that allows you to see the names of students who match the searched or filtered skills
What's Coming Soon?
In a few weeks, we will have a calendar feature that will help manage meetings and other activities.
